“The goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create the possibilities for a child to invent and discover, to create men who are capable of doing new things.” -Jean Piaget
Hello, and welcome to my e-portfolio! My name is Dallas Gray and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in the Art of Teaching at Hollins University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University in 2018, shortly before moving to the Roanoke Valley. I enjoy learning through reading, traveling, and playing music. I have a passion for teaching young learners, and instilling a sense of curiosity in all students. As described in my teaching philosophy below, it is my goal to cultivate a classroom environment that encourages all students to explore the world around them, think creatively, work collaboratively, and constantly try new things.
